I completely agree with you – carnival is a horror!

  2. Well, a little more tolerance please. What if there are people who make carnival happy? What's wrong with being happy? N/a? So.

Yes, and the >31°C temperatures like in Thailand are not a blessing for everyone ;)

Well, at least you save a lot of gas in Thailand...

Laugh, have a nice party, George. The alcohol industry is very grateful for the days. A carnival without the fuel would be interesting. That would be cool for the kids too. I saw a sweet Maya the Bee and I have to admit that carnival is a blast for children. And of course there are probably nice groups of friends who have a lot of fun at the time. It's not mine, at least not in Germany. Venice yes.

I'm not a carnival person either. My statement was only meant to be a provocation to bring some life into your post.
Children's carnival is okay for me too. I also find the rest rather disgusting.

  6. I have other thoughts about the posts about alcohol:

If there are no more mainstream (government) critical speeches and floats at carnival, alcohol is the only way to still enjoy it.
Sad when you consider that the Rhenish carnival was created in the fight against the authorities.
